The building now has new owners & is currently being made safe & secure. Permission to convert to flats has been applied for. Hopefully, we should see improvements very soon.
Spoke to council roughly four or five months ago regarding tree pruning. I was informed that they would be pruned before this spring. I am not sure (convinced ) that this has taken place? It is too late for this season. I will contact council to confirm the status of this soon.
As part of the Brunswick Town in Bloom efforts, I have 2 (ex council) planters/hanging baskets left for anyone who will fill & display them in Brunswick Place.

On Wednesday 24 February Tracy Davison of Brighton and Hove city council is coming to Brunswick Place to look at potential locations for new cycle racks. Anyone interested in this issue can meet her from 9am outside Harringtons estate agents on the corner of Brunswick Place and Western Road.

Local residents Ann & Shaz are in process to get our street a bike rack…..meanwhile, doesn’t even the rubbish look good with a little snow on top!
I am not sure if it bothers anyone else because they may not live close enough to the taxi rank, but I don’t think taxis should be allowed to sit there with their engines running (especially those big London-type cabs). Its actually very noisy, and of course un-environmentally friendly!
